About Niamh
Niamh is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Real Estate Department.
She advises both corporate and individual landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions of mixed-use, office, retail, leisure and industrial developments.
She also represents real estate developers, both private individuals and corporates, on a broad range of transactions including the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties for development, financing and re-financing and on-going asset management purposes.
Niamh has also worked on a range of corporate transactions providing advice on all property aspects.
Prior to joining BHSM LLP, Niamh worked for several years in the real estate department of one of Dublin’s most highly regarded private client law firms and, before that, in a Big 6 law firm.
Recent Experience
- Acted for a distributor of agri-food products in the re-gear of its leasehold property interests at Dublin Port
- Advised the owner of one of Dublin’s most renowned hotels in a rent review dispute with its landlord
- Acted for an international sports and fashion retailer in the negotiation of new lease transactions and the re-gear of existing leases in respect of various retail units around Ireland
- Acted for various corporate entities in the disposal of well-known retail parks and shopping centres in Dublin and Galway City
- Acted for a trust company in a high-profile acquisition of a 600-acre estate and residence located in County Cork
- Acted for an ICAV in the re-financing of its portfolio of hotels with one of Ireland’s pillar banks
- Acted for a group of co-owners in the disposal of a factory premises in Co. Wicklow
- Acted for a trust company in granting an Option over land to a wind energy company for the purposes of battery storage and the erection of a wind turbine
