Richard Lee, Solicitor
Richard is a solicitor working in our Insolvency and Restructuring Department and also in our Litigation Department. He specialises in advising lending institutions in the enforcement of mortgage security and also advises lending institutions in the appointment of Receivers over residential properties in Ireland and in the U.K.
Richard has considerable experience in Commercial Litigation and currently advises lending institutions in High Court actions for breaches of undertakings and professional negligence. He also regularly advises clients in landlord and tenant disputes. During his time with Baily Homan Smyth McVeigh, Richard has advised in a significant number of debt recovery actions taken by lending institutions and for commercial clients.
Richard is a member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland and has significant experience acting for employees and employers in contentious and non-contentious matters. He advises on all aspects of the employment relationship including obligations, rights, and entitlements arising under employment legislation. Richard also advises clients in relation to data protection issues and is experienced in the field of Personal Injuries litigation.
Richard obtained an LLB from the NUI Galway and completed his training contract with Hayes Solicitors in Dublin. He previously worked with the Irish Legal Expert group that advised the Fundamental Rights Agency.
