Kate McNamara, Solicitor
Kate is a solicitor in our Property Department and advises on varied property law issues including conveyancing transactions, liquidations, receiverships, landlord and tenant issues and commercial leasing. Her work includes advising purchasers, vendors, receivers, liquidators, property companies and banks. Kate also works alongside the Corporate Department, providing support in the areas of commercial and corporate law.
Kate has a strong interest in the area of employment law and has experience in dealing with domestic and international employers in respect of both contentious and non-contentious matters. Kate has also advised a number of private clients in an advisory context.
Kate, who has an LLB from the University of Dundee, completed her training with international commercial firm Eversheds. Kate also previously worked as part of the Investigation Committee of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse under the leadership of Mr Justice Sean Ryan.
Kate was admitted as a Solicitor in Ireland, 2012 and has also successfully completed the necessary exams to be dual-qualified in England & Wales.
